Our Story

​

MOMS stands for Meadows of Mendon Stables, the business that inspired this sanctuary.

MOMS Horse Sanctuary Inc. was founded by a son to honor his mother’s lifelong dedication to horses and the riders they’ve supported.

​

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide a loving retirement home for horses who have served at Meadows of Mendon Stables.

​At Moms Horse Sanctuary Inc., we’re committed to giving senior horses a peaceful, loving home for life.
 

These incredible animals have spent years serving in therapeutic and recreational riding programs, and now it’s our turn to care for them.

 

Here, they’ll live safely, receive excellent veterinary care, and enjoy the comfort, dignity, and affection they’ve truly earned.​​
